Set in the charming studio of nine-nine in Kuta, this workshop offers a hands-on encounter with three iconic local traditions: coconut oil production, sambal preparation, and coffee crafting.
What You’ll Do
- Harvest fresh coconut meat and learning how to extract pure coconut oil using age-old methods.
- Roast, grind, brew and taste as you uncover the secrets behind Lombok’s rich coffee culture.
- Grinding fresh chillies, aromatic spices and locally sourced ingredients to create your own sambal, culminating in a shared home-style Sasak meal.
